Notes of a domestic nature

Please set up your own page, and post in your own language if your intended audience are the people of your language and country. If on the other hand you want to communicate with a wider public, would suggest you use your best English. Read also (for fun) PJM: "English Dominates the Web? My Money is on Globish!", by Tom Hayes

The Law of Aristotle ("Metaphysics")

"But, we have now posited that it is impossible for anything at the same time to be and not to be, and by this means have shown that this is the most indisputable of all principles".

Postmodernism:

If reason makes no sense to your argument as reality clearly shows otherwise, attack reason as pernicious and superficial, and persuade the world that objective reality doesn't exist.

Bloomberg: Czech President Vaclav Klaus, the last European Union leader yet to sign the Lisbon Treaty, suggested he may not continue to stand in the way as the ratification process has gone too far to stop it.

Klaus said in today’s Lidove Noviny that while he “can’t consider” the treaty to be a good thing for Europe or the Czech Republic, “the train with it is going so quickly and is so far that i… Continue

New discoveries refuting earlier evidence

Since a later discovery rests hierarchically on the earlier evidence it cannot contradict it. So this does not happen. New knowledge builds on old evidence. It is never radically different in essence. The contradiction only seems to take place because the context is dropped. Continue

P1 On Liberty and Individual Rights

A series of animated videos, succinctly explaining the concepts of Liberty and Individual Rights versus Collectivism. Highly recommended! http://fr.truveo.com/P1-The-Nature-and-Origin-of-Human-Rights/id/288230384744332633 Continue

The precursors of censorship

There's quite a bit of confusion about what constitutes "hate speech". To Muslims and Obama supporters ANY criticism is inciting hatred. There have been indications during the US Presidential elections of Democrats trying to criminalize critics, making an equivocation that loosely runs: criticism = lies = libel = criminal.
Muslim groups (OIC) within the UN are pushing resolutions that equivocate:  criticism = Isl… Continue

Is for Ought, Intent for Effect

As in Hume's Law (confusing what Is, with what it Ought To Be) we here have the latest mix up: people confusing their intention with the effect of their actions: a result of the fallacy that thought creates reality. I intended to do X, so if you conclude that the effect of my actions is Y, this cannot be true, and it's just your personal opinion (since objective truth does not exist, and my intent was X).
